Podcast Artwork updated on feed but doesn't show up in Itunes

The URL in your 'itunes:image' tag is http://i1.sndcdn.com/avatars-000248672710-3w2lf5-original.jpg . This image is 1186 x 1186 px and thus below the required minimum of 1400 x 1400, so the image will not update. If the image you uploaded was indeed 1400 x 1400 it may be that SoundCloud is reducing the size - there have been cases of some podcast services doing this.

Incidentally, make sure you change the image filename: if you place a new image under the same URL as the previous the Store (which caches the image) will have no way of knowing it's changed.

Once you've managed to change the image to a suitable one it can take some days before the Store updates.

That should be OK. the 500kB limit seems no longer to apply though it's probably worth keeping the size reasonable. You've changed the filename so that's OK - you should be good to go.

We are still seeing issues with Artwork over 500 kb.

Best to get it as small as possible and definitely under 500 kb.

Thanks. I thought we'd seen some larger files get away with it in the last few months, but probably best to be on the safe side. Of course it would help if Apple put a maximum size in the specifications.

It had gotten better for a while - but lately we have been seeing more and more have issues again because of artwork over 500kb.

Confirmed - 1428 x 1428; you should be good to go.
